Kimberley Photography WorkshopThis Kimberley workshop is based at Digger's Rest Station in the east Kimberley, 130 kms from Kununurra. You'll travel the region in comfort, venturing off the beaten track into wilderness areas not open to the public, exploring deep into the landscape, having unique experiences and meeting colourful characters. You'll have your own comfortable Bush Hut or Bunkhouse room to retreat to each evening and spend a night camping out to take advantage of the vast night sky.

To be confirmed What is it? A 7 day Adventure for photographers of all levels. Bewley Shaylor is a professional photographer, photography teacher and filmmaker. He will help you with camera technique, guide you through digital editing, helping you to get the best out of your camera gear and create stunning images. What will you learn? Our tutors are experts in their fields with infectious enthusiasm and commitment. The workshops are fun, non-competitive and supportive. Bewley is a patient and understanding instructor who will help you build camera skill by getting you out in the field taking shots, experimenting with your camera to see what it can really do. You'll benefit from Bewley's years of industry experience as he shares tricks of the trade around photo editing, light and composition. Enjoy five days tuition over numerous locations and via fun activities. Is this the ideal trip for you?
What is there to photograph? Great locations are in easy reach of the station, meaning less time traveling, more time shooting. Extend your skills and capture the unique imagery of the Kimberley.
About your tutor - Bewley Shaylor A veteran of three solo exhibitions and several group shows, Bewley combines a love of photographing people within their environment with a passion for light and composition. His images are published in several books and he directed and shot a short film which screened internationally. As chief photographer for FORM Bewley has photographed the Spinifex Hill Mob; the Silo Project; Worn Land; The Core; Dutch cloud-artist Berndnaut Smilde and various street art projects. ACCOMMODATION The two types of accommodation are the Bush Hut and the Bunkhouse room. Bush Hut - Bush Huts have a double bed, verandah, mosquito net, ensuite, fan, powerpoint, light, towels and linen. Perks of a bush hut - peaceful, views, wildlife, authentic Kimberley experience. Bunkhouse room - The two bunkhouse rooms are usually shared by two guests each. Each bunkhouse room has a double bed plus one or two single beds, air conditioning, overhead fans, towels, linen. The bunkhouse has a shared bathroom. Perks of the bunkhouse - spacious, air conditioned, large verandahs, close to the homestead. Inclusions
