What a fantastic place this is. Thank you so much for your wonderful hospitality. This trip will stay in my memory forever. - Joanna

Kimberley

It's a landscape that demands a lot of you it's true, but the rewards are profound and, it's not exaggerating to say,  life changing.  When you visit this remote corner of Australia, you'll find an area that is not commercial, or spoiled.  You can breathe and be yourself out here and find a renewed sense of creativity and meaningful connectedness.

Our Kimberley itineraries are based on a cattle station called Digger’s Rest Station. The Kimberley region of northern Western Australia is one of Australia's last true wildernesses.

  • Savour the solitude, views and wildlife from your Kimberley-style Bush Hut or share an air-conditioned bunkhouse room
  • Explore creeks, rivers, wetlands
  • Unwind around the campfire
  • Enjoy home-cooked meals
  • Marvel at a night sky without light pollution
  • Observe over 200 bird species in the area
  • Linger beneath a thousand year old Boab tree
  • Participate in life on a cattle station
  • Let us take care of all the details
  • Join a creative workshops with a professional tutor or one of our nature itineraries
  • Bring your own creative group - ask about available dates and information

Digger's Rest Station in the Kimberley  was the film location for the following productions:
  • Baz Lurhman’s epic film “Australia!”
  • Lonely Planet film, “Free Rein” with Rachel Ward and Bryan Brown
  • Ads by Qantas, Telstra, Toyota, WA Tourism, and Myer
  • Filmed nearby: Mad Bastards, Satellite Boy, Mystery Road, The Messiah
